1. My item is on backorder, what does this mean?
If your item is on backorder, it means that we are waiting for the supplier to ship that particular item to our warehouse. Most backordered items take 7-10 business days to arrive, but in some circumstances, they may take longer. You can always email us on to request any ETA's.

2. Does Megamac ship outside of the UK?
No - we are not currently shipping outside of the UK. However, we are planning to ship to the EU in the near future - so get in touch if you'd like to know when this begins.

3. Where are you based? Can I collect my items?
We are solely an online store, so collecting your items isn't possible. Our customer care team is based in a Central London office where they assist with online and phone queries. Suppliers ship products to our warehouse, which is based outside of London. Here, orders are boxed and despatched to our customers.
4. What's the order cut-off point?
In stock orders placed before 12pm UK time, Monday to Friday, are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed during the weekend will be despatched on Monday.

5. When are the customer care team available?
Our friendly customer care team are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. You can contact us via email, Live Chat and telephone.

6. Will I receive a VAT invoice?
You can request a VAT invoice by contacting us via email, Live Chat and telephone.

7. What are your shipping rates?
Megamac has partnered with DPD and Royal Mail to offer the best mix of delivery services to the UK. We offer free Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 48 shipping on orders over £60.00, as well as discounted express shipping rates. Orders over £60 can also enjoy either Tracked & Signed 24 for £2.99, or DPD 24 Next Working Day for £3.99. For all orders below £60, shipping rates are as follows: 
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 - £3.99
  • Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 48 - £4.99
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £5.99
  • Royal Mail Tracked & Signed 24 - £6.99
  • DPD 24 Next Working Day - £7.99
8. How do I return items?
To return an order, please inform us of your intent to return via Email, Live Chat or Telephone. We will collect some information about your order and then send you the relevant returns information and documents. We also offer a repairs service for faulty OWC products. You can read more here.

9. My OWC item isn’t working - who can I troubleshoot with?
We advise customers to contact OWC Technical Support, since they can provide the most informed technical assistance. They have a team of technical experts that can usually help customers diagnose and repair faults. You are able to speak to them directly via Live Chat from 2pm UK Time. You can find their contact page here. Just follow the link and click on the Live Chat icon to begin speaking with them. If OWC confirm that you have a faulty item, then you can begin the returns process with Megamac.
