Is it right for you?
Yes, if you prefer using your iPhone Duo without a bulky case, but want scratch protection for the rear glass and camera lenses alongside the warmth and grip of Horween leather.
Probably not, if you need drop protection. This back shields against everyday scratches and surface wear, but leaves the sides and edges exposed and will not protect against hard drops.
Using it
Fitting. Peel the protective film from the microsuction patches on the inside of the back. Align the camera cutout over your iPhone Duo camera lenses; the integrated MagSafe magnets will guide it into position. Press down firmly across the back to seat the microsuction.
Restoring adhesion. If dust or lint reduces grip after removing the back, wipe the microsuction pads gently with a damp, lint-free cloth. Allow them to air-dry completely before refitting.
Leather care. Clean with a soft, damp cloth. To maintain and condition the leather, apply a specialist conditioner such as Ashland Leather Conditioner.
Warranty
Nomad gives a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage (including scratches and cracks), accidental damage and misuse are not covered.
Questions
- Does this provide drop protection?
- No. The Magnetic Back protects the rear glass and camera lenses from scratches and scuffs, but does not provide impact protection for the edges or display.
- Can I remove and reinstall it?
- Yes. The microsuction uses non-adhesive microscopic vacuum suction. It peels off cleanly with zero residue and re-adheres repeatedly.
- Will it fit either side of the iPhone Duo?
- No. It is precision-moulded specifically for the rear camera side of the iPhone Duo.
- Can I charge wirelessly through the back?
- Yes. It is fully compatible with Apple MagSafe chargers and Qi2 wireless charging pads.
