Compatibility
Fits: iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Doesn't fit: iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Air, or anything older than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Pro version of this case is part number NM017989858.
Works with: MagSafe chargers, wallets, power banks, car mounts and tripod mounts. Qi2 wireless chargers. Nomad Wrist Strap, and third-party lanyards threaded through the Nomad anchor. The Wrist Strap is not in the box.
Is it right for you?
Yes, if you use your phone in a more adventurous and rugged environment, and you want 15ft of drop protection.
Probably not, if you want a slim case. Bumpers are 3.3mm. If a leather finish or seeing the phone matters more than the drop rating, look at the rest of the Nomad range.
Using it
Swapping the buttons. Push the fitted button out firmly from the outside of the case. Press the replacement in from the inside until it clicks into its housing.
Fitting a wrist strap. Seat the strap's anchor in the recess inside the case and push the D-ring out through the USB-C port opening. Drop the iPhone in, then loop the strap through the D-ring. Any other lanyard can go through the D-ring too, but you still need the Nomad anchor.
Cleaning. A soft, damp cloth. Skip solvents and abrasive cleaners, which will damage the anodised finish and the matte coating on the backplate.
Warranty
Nomad gives a 2-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Covered: manufacturing and workmanship defects. Faults in how the case was built.
Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic ageing, scratches and scuffs from everyday use, damage caused by dropping the case, misuse, and any modification of the product. A case that's absorbed an impact and shows the marks has done its job, and that isn't a defect.

- Is it MagSafe compatible?
- Yes, with any MagSafe charger or accessory. It also carries an alignment magnet, so accessories that need a fixed orientation sit the right way up. Qi2 wireless charging works with the case on.
- Will it fit my iPhone 17 Pro Max?
- Yes. This iPhone 18 Pro Max case also fits the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
- Will it fit my iPhone 18 Pro?
- No. This is the iPhone 18 Pro Max version. The Pro case is part number NM017989858.
- How do I change the buttons?
- Push the fitted button out from the outside, then press the new one in from the inside until it clicks. A Stellar Orange set is in the box.
- How do I attach a lanyard?
- Seat Nomad's Wrist Strap anchor inside the case and push the D-ring out through the USB-C opening. Other lanyards go through that D-ring, but you still need the Nomad anchor.
- My case is scratched. Is that covered?
- No. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear and tear or drop damage. Scuffing on the bumpers is the case working as intended.
