Experience Spatial Audio on Apple Music

As of June 2021, Apple Music subscribers can now listen to selected songs in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. Rather than how you normally listen to music, you can now enjoy an immersive multi-dimensional listening experience...

Read below to understand what Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos is, and how you can use it on multiple devices!
What is Spatial Audio?
Spatial Audio gives artists the opportunity to create immersive audio experiences for their fans with true multidimensional sound and clarity. The technology signals and applies directional audio filters, which adjust the frequencies in each ear. This creates the experience of sounds that can appear virtually anywhere in 3D space. The idea is to recreate the audio experience of a cinema, as sounds appear in front of you, from the sides, the rear and even above.

Listening to music will be a totally immersive experience as the music appears all around you. Listeners can enjoy this innovative experience from their favourite artists such as J Balvin, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, The Weeknd, and so many more.

How to use Spatial Audio?
You can enjoy this new feature on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.
